In 2012, the Hind Foundation granted $2,500 to Heaven Can Wait Equine Sanctuary for Healing and Learning to complete the funding for installation of a new drainage system for the barn/stall area just before the heavy rain season. With proper water rerouting, the boarded horses and donkeys would have been lying and standing in water or mud, making them prone to infection and sickness. The grant monies were used to install a french drain system.
