Parkfield Music Festival

For Bluegrass Music Society of the Central Coast

In 2011, the Hind Foundation granted $2,500 to the Bluegrass Music Society of the Central Coast (BMSCC) to aid in bringing musical performances by bands of national or regional caliber to the Parkfield Music Festival.

The Parkfield Music Festival is popular and well known for the quality of its musical performances and offstage jamming. In 2011, BMSCC Board members strive to perpetuate the festival experience by hiring bands that give thrilling performances and whose members will jam with festival-goers at all levels of musical proficiency, and to create a family-friendly venue.

Noteworthy Results

  • Improved Experience
2011 Festival Attendees enjoyed such regionally- and nationally- renowned bands as LeRoy Mack & Bluegrass Gospel Band, Belle Monroe & Her Brewglass Boys, Stairwell Sistters, and more.
