Paso Robles Festival of the Arts

For Studios on the Park

In 2014, the Hind Foundation provided $2,500 to Studios on the Park to bring live, professional entertainment to its day-long, community-wide event entitled the Paso Robles Festival of the Arts. This admission-free event draws 7,000 - 8,000 attendees each year, significantly boosting the downtown economy on Festival weekend. Typically, the Festival boasts unique forms of entertainment – from stilt walkers and sculptors to orchestral groups and professional sand masters. Critical to the event’s success, these talented performers engage attendees (50% of which are children and families), giving participants focal points for attention, direction, and entertainment.

Noteworthy Outcomes

  • Open to All
The Paso Robles Festival of the Arts is a community arts event that is free to the public, giving children, families and individuals of all ages the opportunity to enjoy professional entertainment they may not otherwise experience.
  • Collaboration for Youth Engagement
Various local groups – such as SLO Symphony, Cambria YMCA, the Paso Robles Library Foundation, the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, the Paso Robles Art Association, the Youth Arts Foundation, and many more – come together to produce engagement Youth Zone activities.
