Sundays Live

For Los Angeles County Museum of Art

The Hind Foundation supports Sundays Live which presents forty-nine one-hour, high-quality programs of classical solo or chamber music free of charge at LACMA’s Leo S. Bing Theater. These free weekly concerts, which serve approximately 18,000 live audiences and 10,000 online audiences every year, remain a staple of L.A.’s active classical music scene.
Fulfilling its mission to nurture young performers, Sundays Live continues to present opportunities for youth and emerging artists–from such organizations as the Young Musicians Foundation, Crossroads School, the Colburn School, iPalpiti Artists, USC, and UCLA–to perform in a professional setting and explore future careers in music.
Sundays Live continues to make an overwhelmingly positive impact on the classical music scene by actively introducing new or emerging musicians to audiences. Through the Emerging Artist series, young musicians make their debuts in the field each year. They continuously collaborate with universities and community music schools to provide new talent with an opportunity to perform at a professional venue with a committed audience.
